Soft Gripper

The Soft Gripper is an new-concept handling tool that incorporates an electrostatic chucking function into a uniquely developed flexible material.

Traditional electrostatic chucks are typically solid and flat, designed to grip flat objects like silicon wafers and glass panels. However, the recent global shift toward automation and labor-saving solutions has led to increasing demands for handling a diverse range of objects, including those with complex three-dimensional shapes. To address these needs, we developed a unique handling technology that combines frictional force and electrostatic chucking capabilities in a specially designed flexible material.
